March 2026 Scrapbook Kit Together - In Person

SBK WS

Working with a scrapbook kit is the fastest and easiest way to complete pages. This new class format is a ‘Choose your own adventure.’ Work with your favourite kit. Create the layouts, personalised to your style. PLUS you have the option to copy two BONUS layouts Shaunna has made from the leftovers following a printed guide she will provide.

Join the fun of a Scrapbook Kit Together

This is a class just for those working with a Stampin’ Up! Scrapbook Kit. It can be one you already have in your supplies or one you are ordering specially to use on the day.

Don’t have a kit or ran out of time to order one? I’ve got you covered with a range of kits available to purchase on the day.

We may end up with everyone using a different kit or lots of us using the same kit.

I have made up every one of the currently available kits (and a couple of retired ones I have in stock) so you can see the finished product. I followed the cutting guides exactly but often added extra photos or changed up the embellishment placement. I sometimes create ‘extra’ paper by gutting larger pieces that have a layer over them. Any of my changes will be detailed on the handout for my kit.

Because I don’t like storing leftovers from a kit, I design and make two extra layouts with the addition of some plain co-ordinating cardstock. I will regularly include stamping or die cutting on these extra layouts. If that’s the case with your chosen kit, the tools will be made available for you to use on the day.

The kit below is called Currently Loving. My version includes some extra photos and a slight change to the paper placement on layout 3.

What’s a Scrapbook Kit?

Using kits is still my favourite way to complete multiple pages in a short space of time. Everything you need is in one small bag - just add photos.

Every kit includes a full colour guide for cutting your papers and creating the layouts.

All the paper and co-ordinating cardstock is included, along with base pages to build the page on. Two exclusive designer papers are made specially for each kit and are not available for purchase any other way.

Pre-cut, pre-printed diecuts are included to support the theme of the kit. Thes usually include titles, journal spaces and decorative images. A 12x12 sheet of co-ordinating stickers is also included.

You can follow the simple cutting guides, choose which side of the paper to have showing and tweak its placement on the page. You can add or take out photo wells, change the size of photos used and play with the placement of the images on the layout.

This kit is called Beach Time. Here’s what the guide helps you create. Whilst I used all the cut pieces, I completely changed my paper and photo placement to suit my non-beachy photos.

With 10 - 16 Scrapbook Workshop Kits on offer at any given time, you are spoilt for choice.

In the past, I have nominated one kit per month and we’ve all worked with it. But what if that one doesn’t suit your next lot of photos? What if you don’t like the colours in it? What if you’ve already made that one up?

This new format allows you to choose the kit that works best for your needs. Bring it along and make up the pages in the company of other scrapbookers and with me nearby to support and guide you. Alternatively, choose a kit when you arrive. I have one of each in stock.

This kit has been in the store for awhile. It’s called Lovely Florals and I LOVED making it up. I ‘calmed’ things down in my version, with plainer backgrounds for the first two layouts and fewer flowers on the second one. It’s discounted in Last Chance.

How exactly will this class work?

Thinking about the next lot of photos you wish to scrapbook, decide which kit will suit your needs best.

Once you are registered for the class, you will receive a confirmation email. You reply to that telling Shaunna the name of your kit you will be working with.

  • If ordering the kit, allow 10-14 days for delivery.

  • If registering for the class closer than that, you can check with me if I have that kit on hand you can use on the day. It is my aim to keep one of each in stock.

On the day of the class, Shaunna will have a completed kit available for you to view along with a handout and samples for two BONUS layouts made with the leftovers.

  • You will need extra base pages and may need to purchase additional cardstock on the day if you don’t own any of the co-ordinating colours.

  • If I’ve used stamps or dies, they will be available for your use in the class.

I will seat you near others using the same kit so you can help each other out.

  • Work at your own pace and complete the layouts at home if you run out of time.

  • You will have a printed handout for the bonus pages.

This is the Turtle-Y Cute workshop. I love the clean lines and option to make it child centred or more generic by leaving the turtles off and using them on cards.

Why are there different sessions on offer?

As our weekends fill with commitments, many people found they couldn’t book into a full day workshop. Scrapbook Workshop Kits are designed to be assembled in a couple of hours. This means you can complete your kit in a 3 hour session.

I am offering the choice to attend just for the morning, just for the afternoon or play all day. It is my hope that this will meet everyone’s needs. If attending the full day session you will want to BYO lunch.

Do I have to order my kit from Shaunna?

No, but I will sweeten the deal if you do or have already ordered the scrapbook kit on my website before the class. Once you’re registered and let me know the kit you will be using, I’ll check and send you Stampin’ Rewards to the value of 10% of the class fee you paid.

If you are purchasing a kit from me on the day, I’ll cover the freight fee for you.

I hope to see you at a Kit Together soon.

Love Shaunna
