FFF Zoom Scrapbook Workshop #1 - Creative Borders

Join the fun of a 3-hour Zoom scrapbook workshop.

This is the first in the Fast, Fun or Fancier workshop series running in conjunction with my Mission Possible Scrapbook Challenge. I joined forces with a group of experienced Demonstrators across Australia and New Zealand to create handouts showcasing one page design that could be kept simple and FAST to make, stepped up a little with a few embellishments and extra paper layouts for FUN or made FANCIER with the addition of extra embellishments, stamping, die cuts or techniques. One paper pack was used for all three layouts.

In this class we look at two handouts that featured borders which function as a frame for your photos. My guest designer is Linda Pannell and I have created the second set of pages.

Learn simple ways to alter the look of layouts featuring borders that frame your photos. Linda shows you these papers are not all about holidays. She shares 2 ways to turn a simple 3x12 strip into a tiled pattern with a few slices or some paper layering. She shows you two ways to use the Mini Alphabet Dies (162934) and incorporates the Adventurous Sky stamps and Dies bundle (163447) on a new baby photo shoot layout. Each of her layouts uses four 4x6 portrait photos with room for an extra smaller photo if desired.

Shaunna shows you how to elevate a printed paper with some over stamping and dress up a cardstock border with the paper leathering technique. She has used the pre-printed tags in this pack in three different ways. Each layout includes two 6x4 landscape photos and six 4x4 or 3x4 portrait photos. Clouds from the Adventurous Sky (163439) stamps turn fluffy clouds to rain clouds and a variety of die cut leaves and sprigs adorn the park photos in the Fancier layout.

I’ll teach you lots of tips and tricks and you choose whether your layouts will be Fast, Fun or Fancier. Bring photos and embellishments to go with the theme. You may choose to use the papers shown below or something similar you already own.
