3x3 Same But Different Scrapbook Pattern

Are you looking for an easy way to create multiple 12x12 scrapbook layouts, using a simple yet adaptable pattern and just one pack of papers with its co-ordinating cardstock?  This my friend is your lucky day!  I have a super fun, super versatile new workshop to help you do just that.

Let me introduce you to the latest of my Same But Different Workshops

This is the 3x3 Same But Different pattern featuring Close To My Heart’s Cosette collection.

The beauty of a Same But Different workshop is that you use a very simple cutting system to cut every piece of paper the same way and then you create simple layouts that you can dress up or keep plain.

You can use any 6-sheet paper pack that you have on hand. I've used Cosette for this one because I love it and I particularly loved the little paperboard die cuts that came with the collection. The stickers also spoke to me.

You'll see that I've added stencilling, liquid pearls, sponging, stamps and thin cuts throughout the workshop. Basically, you get to dress up your designs in any way you find pleasing.  It’s so much fun to look through your tools and supplies to find things that will work for your papers and photos.

You'll notice that every layout is on a coloured background.  One of the reasons I do that is to use the coordinating cardstock that goes with the paper pack.  This speeds up my decision making process.  By having a coloured background, I don't need to bring in extra papers.

The layouts themselves come together quickly and you can then spend a little time dressing them up as you desire. You have lots of options for photo placement which makes it easier to use images you already have printed.

This is an online class which you access from this website.

  • You can view it at anytime and work through the lessons at your own pace, coming back to them as often as you need.
  • You get printed handouts that include full colour photos of all of my pages.
  • You get very detailed videos that show step by step, cutting, constructing and embellishing tips.
  • My goal with this is that you view every layout, each a little bit different, so that you can find something in there that resonates with your style.
  • You can choose to copy exactly, or to just take some of the little techniques and apply them as a as you feel.

Then, next time you need a quick set of layouts, you come back and do it all over again with new papers!  They will look a little bit the same…but DIFFERENT!
