S1712 A Little Bit of Pun SOTM Australasian Blog Hop

The cute line drawings teamed with funny puns are perfectly suited to card making.  Something to make the recipient smile for sure.  The first thing I did was cut the sentiments away from the drawing so I could use them in a wider variety of ways.

These recognition cards were sent to members of my team who have been working hard and growing their businesses over the past month.  Enchantment Fundamentals provided the spot paper and the rest is plain cardstock.  Stamping the sentiment repeatedly creates the look of a patterned paper.  You can see now why I cut the sentiment away from the drawing.

The pattern on the red Cricut cut shape was made using a background stamp that comes in the You Are Here Cricut collection.



 

I have been making all my Christmas gifts again this year and these tags will be part of a collection I am gifting to a friend.  They were so quick to make using cardstock scraps.  The tags are cut using the largest dies in the Basic Banner and Basic Tags Thin Cuts sets.  You could colour them but I think they are fine as they are.
