Have you used Close To My Heart Flip Flaps on your album pages yet?  They are the solution scrapbookers have been seeking for years.  Check out the layout I made to hold 22 photos!

Take another look now I've Flipped the Flaps!!

Pretty cool, isn't it?  Flip flaps come in many different sizes to hold single photos or multiples.  you can also use them for memorabilia.  I've used 12" long Flip Flaps on this page.  They come in widths of 4", 6" and 8" to increase their versatility.  Click here to see the other sizes available to you.  Each Flip Flap has a pocket for your photos or paper and an adhesive strip to secure it to the outside of your page protector.

I'll be teaching a class next Wednesday, May 28, filled with tips and tricks for using Flip Flaps.  It's being held in Duncraig, Perth.  Let me know if you'd like details.

The paper behind the photos on the top Flip Flap was plain cardstock.  I really wanted it to go with the embossed cardstock I'd used elsewhere which came from the Free To Be Me Paper Pack so I stamped lines of stitching across it using Stitch Wonder (C1564).

The central panel needed just a little lift and the fun Irresistibles were perfect for the job.  These pre-cut white cardboard shapes have an embossed pattern on them.  When I rubbed over them with my ink dauber, the colour  covered the white paper but not the embossing, allowing the textured pattern to show through.  Take a look at the other shapes you can colour this way by clicking here.

Lovely layout Shaunna. The flip flaps look interesting and I really need to look at the Irresistables again. They look great.
