Here is the second layout for our Little Black Dress night. It follows on from Friday's post. A large group of young women (I include myself here because I felt young that night) on the dance floor seem to spend more time taking photos of themselves than dancing! Perhaps that is more a reflection on the quality of the music than the individuals. Anyway, the result was a set of fun photos taken at awkward angles but filled with smiles.
This page features heartstrings papers, This Moment and Y…
Operation Smile is a private, not for profit organisation providing reconstructive facial surgery to children and young adults born in developing countries. On 1st December Close to My Heart Consultants released our Seasonal Expressions Idea Book. On the back page of this Idea book you will find the C- sized, You’re the Bomb stamp set (C1617). By purchasing this set at full retail price of $21 you can help change the life of a child as CTMH will donate $US3 from your purchase to Operation Smil…
The Heartstrings Workshop on the Go (G1090) is a card making kit but I have used the stamps on lots of my album pages. The sentiments blend with so many of life's celebrations. Today my pages are all about my sister's birthday breakfast which we celebrated on our balcony in Riomaggiore on the Cinque Terra in Italy last year. It was a very special experience!
The layout is based on Card Trick from the Magic How To Book (9040). It was very quick to make.
I have a friend who has a birthday on Anzac Day - how lucky her friends are never working on her birthday! We joined her family to celebrate the occasion with a twilight sail. It was a perfect Perth evening and such a happy time. How fortuitous that Close To My Heart has the Seaside papers (X7192b) and Complements stickers (X7192c)! They were perfect for my photos.
I based this layout on the Clean Dimension layout on pages 102-103 of the Cherish How To Book (9038) I love how easy it is to c…

It was so exciting to be part of the North American CTMH Convention in June. The stage looked gorgeous and changed each day. Mandy & I were able to have a quick photo on it the first day. I wanted a simple layout for these photos as it marks the beginning of the Convention chapter in my album.
The focus is on the Paper Fundamentals range in all my classes this month and this page features the Adventure Assortment (Z2032) of these papers. I just love the happy colours in it and chose Lagoon, H…
Our USA convention for Close To My Heart was held in Disneyland, California. A good friend and sister consultant, Mandy Ellery, travelled with me for the event. We added some time either side for fun. This page shows how brave we were going on the Tea Cups ride in Fantasyland. Neither of us like scary rides so we decided to be big kids and do all the tame rides. The newly released Paper Fundamentals are proving the perfect accompaniment for these photos. Their bright, shiny side adds some …
It's hard to believe, but Mike volunteered to be locked in the stocks! The lady tour guide at the Round House and I had a really good laugh about that. Lucky for him we had a lunch date planned so I agreed to his freedom.
This layout is copied directly from the Magic How To Book. (9040) You will find all the measurements and instructions on page 62. The letters for the title were cut from an extra photo I had. It was a close up of the limestone walls. The papers and stamps used come from the…
