If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know I LOVE Flip Flaps! Today I have a super cute way to display photos of some of the decorations you use at Christmas time.
I'm not happy with the centre bottom photo but have to wait until Dec 25 to re-shoot it :)
All the Flip Flaps come from the Small Assortment pack (Z1747). They are attached to the OUTSIDE of the page protector. Begin at the bottom and work your way up. I found the easiest way to do this was to place the empty page protector…
Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop. This is a circular hop. If you arrived from Vandra's Blog you are in the right place. At first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking this is a Chri…
Welcome to the May Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Marguerite's Blog you are in the right place. This is a circular hop, click through to the blog mentioned at the end of each post and you will find yourself back here. There’s a lot of inspiration and creativity shared in the cards, pages and projects created by my sister consultants using Just Sayin', May's Stamp of the Month (S1505). Enjoy!
You can never have too many textured shapes in your stamp set…
I'm on the home stretch completing 2014's family album! This layout was quick and easy. Each year a group of friends gather to bake for Christmas. In recent years some of our daughters have been joining us which makes it twice the fun. This layout is a celebration of 2014's delicious creations.
PML cards make journaling so easy
I used Yuletide Carol papers (X7187B) for my background and Ruby Cardstock (X5927) for the photo mounts. The accents and journaling cards came from the A La Carte Pea…
Look who was waiting to greet me in the craft room this morning. I've heard about these little elves who help Santa out but I've never had one visit before. Santa must have realised I need a helper while Kathryn is gallivanting around the world!
Her name is Razzle Dazzle and here's the letter she arrived with. Hope she doesn't spend everyday on my scrapping table or I'll never get anything done.
I know as super women, balancing work and family, we are also supposed to be organised well in advance for Christmas... BUT I know the reality of life means this doesn't always happen. As a paper crafter you know the value of hand made. Today I'm sharing a little hand made card that can be whipped up in a few minutes.
These two cards were made in a few minutes before breakfast! Here's what you need on hand for card emergencies...
One of the things I love about being a consultant with Close To My Heart is the active sharing of ideas between consultants. It is rare for me to have to think something up myself - so many really creative ladies make amazing things and show the rest of us how it's done.
Take these fabulous Christmas gift tubes for instance. These ones were made by Katrina Crute, a consultant in my team. She showed them off at this month's team play day. Her inspiration had come from consultants in the Easter…
I was at a friend's house on the weekend and her teenage daughter bounced into the room to proclaim, "It's only 8 more Fridays until Christmas!"
What's your reaction to that news? Something along the lines of, "So much to do, so little time..."?
If that's how you are feeling then the Close To My Heart Cut Above Kits are made just for you! Each kit comes with all the supplies you need to make 10 cards or 10 treat bags. The BEST bit is that everything is pre-cut! Imagine putting together 10 gorge…
We retired our Christmas Wreath last year after over a decade of good service. This year we will have a fresh new one for the door - handmade by me!
I fell in love with this wreath as soon as I saw it on page 74 of the Annual Inspirations Catalogue. It did take a bit of time to make but I'm thrilled with the result and can't wait for December 1st to hang it on my front door.
Yes! It's only 11 weeks until Christmas so let's make sure that resolution to actually SEND some cards this year is met. I don't send 50-60 cards like I used to but there are a dozen or so really special friends who deserve a card each year. The Snowhaven Cardmaking Kit was perfect for me this year. The kit makes 15 beautifully hand crafted cards in an afternoon or evening. You make 5 cards each of 3 designs. Mine have been done since mid-August. Guess how good that feels!
